iSupported Housing provides support for homeless people living in temporary accommodation. We are looking for experienced individuals to provide a variety of services all designed to help sustain the tenancies of the individuals that we support.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- One to One Support
- Casework Management
To work with client in their own home ensuring provision of advice, support, motivation, crisis intervention and future planning, is appropriate to the expressed needs of service users. To be responsible for contributing to the running integrated services for families.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Organisational Responsibilities
Support Workers will be required to carry out initial risk assessments and create support plans for each tenant in their case load. Support Workers will carry out weekly supervision sessions with the client to ensure they are able to manage their home and environment. The support sessions involve a number of services including:
- Assistance with GP appointments
- Possible evening and weekend call outs
- Assistance with general house hold duties
- Shopping
- Meal preparation or cooking
- Consistent updates to the managerial team
- Willing to go the extra mile.
- Needs to be very organised and up to date with paperwork. Files are subject to audits. All paperwork is to be maintained to regulatory body standards at all times.
- Training will be provided.
Desirable -
- NVQ level 2 in health and social care is desired however full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Essential - Support workers are required to have a valid driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
