Deputy Manager (Development Opportunity for an Experienced Room Leader)

Walmgate Day Nursery is a small, private nursery with a genuine family feel, where every child is known, valued and supported to thrive. We are proud of our warm, nurturing environment and strong relationships with children, families and staff.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our friendly team. This role would be particularly suited to an experienced Room Leader who is ready to take the next step in their career and progress into a management position.

What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Leading, motivating and supporting the staff team to deliver outstanding care and learning experiences
- Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Helping to maintain our welcoming, inclusive and child-centred environment
- Contributing to staff development, quality improvement and nursery operations
What we're looking for:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare
- Strong experience working within a nursery setting
- Current Room Leaders seeking career progression are strongly encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, proactive and supportive approach to leadership
- A genuine passion for giving children the very best start in life

Pay: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
