Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Production Roaster to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Roastery Leadership: Oversee daily roasting, packing, and dispatch operations to ensure all orders are accurate, on time, and meet our high quality-control standards.
- Customer & Café Service: Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt service while maintaining high standards across all service and packing areas.
- Inventory & Stock Control: Plan coffee needs with the Roaster, manage stock takes, receive deliveries, and ensure coffee is fully stocked weekly.
- Financial & Admin Duties: Accurately process payments, manage cash tills, perform reconciliations, and complete required paperwork/returns.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict standards for health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, and basic maintenance (e.g., Legionella checks).
- Team Support: Help train staff on equipment and standards, and liaise with management on scheduling needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for Coffee: Good product knowledge and enthusiasm for coffee culture is desired but not essential
- Strong Work Ethic: Efficient, honest, tidy, and punctual with a keen eye for detail.
- Great Communicator: Interact warmly with customers, and collaborate with directors/management.
- Flexibility: Willingness to assist with special events or cover in other areas when needed.
- Driving License: A valid driving license is desired, but not essential.
Full training will be provided
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
