Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly team.
The Twig and Spoon is a busy day time only restaurant, within Woodlands Garden Centre, Ash, Near Sevenoaks.
We are looking for a hard working individual to assist the head chef and sous chef in the day to day running of our kitchen. Working with fresh food and able to create and bring new ideas to the menu.
You will be mostly working in our pastry section, baking our delicous cakes daily, but you will also be required to work in all aspects of the kitchen and have a good track record of working with fresh food in a busy environment.
Full time position between the hours of 7am till 5pm approx 45 hours per week. Minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial kitchen environment. We are in a rural location so you will need your own transportation.
- Have experiance in pastry
- Keep cooking areas stocked, especially before and during busy lunchtime hours
- Supervise all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and standards
- Work with head chef and sous chef to maintain kitchen organisation, staff ability, and training
- Day time only - no evenings
- Very generous tips are paid on top of your standard wage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.20-£14.00 per hour
