About Us
Oathall Community college is seeking to appoint a part-time premises officer to join our busy premises team looking after the facilities in our large and diverse campus. Reporting to the premises manager, the successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure that the college facilities are well-maintained, well-presented, safe, and secure.

Premises officers generally work a 7.5hr day (with a 30 minute unpaid break) on a rota covering the hours of 07:00 – 18:00. Very occasionally, you may be asked to work outside of these hours or on a weekend. (For example, our annual open day, occasional evening events in school.)
Grade 4, points 5-6. Starting at £15557.
Other benefits include 15 days holiday and participation in the generous local government pension scheme (19.7% employer contribution), free use of the school gym. Access to WSCC employee benefits.
What You Need to Succeed
Previous experience of working in a practical premises or building related role is preferred but we would consider applications from candidates with a ‘can do’, solution focussed approach to work, and a willingness to learn and gain experience on the job.
As you will be working in a school setting you will need to have good interpersonal and customer service skills.
Applicants should be aware that the role involves regular physical effort and exposure to environmental demands.
