We are recruiting for a highly regarded private dental practice seeking a motivated and ambitious Senior Dental Nurse who is ready to develop into a future Lead Dental Nurse position. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting a high-performing clinical team and is looking for genuine long-term career progression.
Importantly, you do not need to be an established Lead Dental Nurse already. The practice is keen to find an experienced Senior Dental Nurse with the right attitude, commitment and leadership potential, offering ongoing support, mentoring and development to help you grow into the role.

The Role
You will play an important role within the nursing team, supporting a range of treatments while gradually developing leadership responsibilities.
Your duties will include:
- Chairside support across a variety of dental procedures
- Assisting with advanced treatments including implants, endodontics and sedation
- Supporting compliance, audits and quality assurance processes
- Stock control and ordering
- Maintaining high standards of cross-infection control and patient care
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the nursing team
- Assisting with CQC compliance and practice protocols
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- GDC-registered Dental Nurse
- Level 3 Dental Nursing qualification (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years' dental nursing experience
- Experience working as a Senior Dental Nurse or readiness to step into a leadership role
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Calm, proactive and professional approach
- Strong attention to detail and compliance standards
- Commitment to building a long-term career within a practice
Ideally, you'll also have experience or an interest in:
- Implants
- Endodontics
- Sedation
- Radiography
- CBCT
- Clinical photography
- Digital dentistry and practice management software
Full training and support can be provided in several of these areas.
Hours
Full-Time Position
- Monday or Thursday: 8:00am to 6:30pm
- Alternative Monday or Thursday: 8:00am to 5:30pm (depending on business requirements)
- Tuesday: 8:00am to 5:30pm
- Wednesday: 8:00am to 5:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
