Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles (DAF, Vanhool, Volvo, Mercedes)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend preventive measures
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a HGV/PSV mechanic or in a similar role essential
- Proficient in heavy lifting and working with power tools
- Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to diagnose electrical issues
As a mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of equipment. Your expertise in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing necessary repairs will ensure the smooth operation of our machinery. Additionally, your attention to detail and ability to provide excellent customer service will contribute to our overall success.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Valid driver's license is a must
