Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Manager to lead and oversee daily store operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. Duties
- Checking in deliveries, order matching and daily banking
- Prepare required paperwork in relation to stock and sales.
- Manage cash balances and minimize wastage
- Lead, motivate, and supervise retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, merchandising plans, and promotional activities.
- Manage stock levels, organise stock displays, and ensure the store maintains an attractive appearance.
- Oversee daily operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and administrative tasks.
- Monitor sales performance, analyse reports, and prepare forecasts to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Conduct staff training sessions on product knowledge, customer service, and organisational standards.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to foster loyalty.
- Maintain effective communication within the team and with other departments to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail supervisory or store management role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff towards achieving goals.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Demonstrable experience in sales management, merchandising, organisational planning, and administrative duties.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in using retail management software and MS Office applications.
- Outstanding organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Experience in phone etiquette and delivering professional customer interactions.
- Full UK driving licence.

Pay: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
