Due to our restaurant becoming increasingly busy, we are looking for one additional team member to join our friendly team.

Duties include:
- Greeting and serving customers
- Taking food and drink orders
- Providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards
- Helping create a welcoming dining experience for our guests
Experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.

Join our growing team and be part of something special! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu offerings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted and accommodated.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Upsell menu items where appropriate to enhance guest experience and maximise sales.
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system, providing correct change and receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts.
- Follow food safety standards diligently, including proper handling of food and beverages.
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties when required, supporting overall restaurant operations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation skills are advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences within a dynamic restaurant environment, eager to learn new skills, and committed to teamwork and professionalism.
Pay: £12.50 per hour
