Summary
We are currently seeking a Supported Living Officer to join our dynamic team across Preston. Based within our community-focused service, this role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality, person-centred support to our residents.
The successful candidate will work closely with individuals to promote independence, enhance life skills, and support their overall well-being, in line with our commitment to compassionate care and social inclusion. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and empathy.
- Coordinate support plans and liaise with external agencies to facilitate residents' independence.
- Monitor and review individual support plans, making adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records using Yardi software to track service delivery and resident progress.
- Assist in resolving conflicts or issues through effective negotiation and communication.
- Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights and best practices.
- Support the company's growth strategy by actively participating in community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supported living or social care environments.
- Strong negotiation skills for conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Compassionate approach with a passion for supporting vulnerable individuals.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the supported living sector.
