WE’RE HIRING: PARTS & STOCK CONTROLLER – BUSY CAR SALES PREPARATION CENTRE
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and detail-driven individual to take ownership of our parts ordering and stock control within our fast-paced Car Sales Preparation Centre.
This is a key role at the heart of our operation, ensuring that every vehicle is prepared efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest standard.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the ordering of vehicle parts and consumables across the business
- Calling suppliers and sourcing the best possible prices, negotiating where appropriate
- Monitoring and controlling stock levels to ensure we never run short of essential items
- Overseeing returns of unused or incorrect parts and ensuring credits are processed correctly
- Tracking regularly used items and setting up smart re-order systems to keep everything flowing
- Organising and filing all parts invoices and returns accurately for monthly accounts processing
- Supporting the wider preparation centre with smooth, efficient parts availability
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in parts, automotive, service centre or mechanical environment (preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Confident communicator who is comfortable speaking with suppliers and negotiating prices
- Someone who thrives in a busy, fast-moving environment
- A proactive mindset – you don’t wait to be told, you spot problems and solve them
- Someone who brings ideas forward to improve systems, efficiency and working practices
What we offer:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
- One Saturday per month: 9:00am – 5:00pm
