Our Ofsted regulated, rated Outstanding and Good homes offer support for up to 3 Children who have experienced childhood trauma, they are no longer able to safely live with their main care givers and require a safe and nurturing home to live in.
Our wonderful children sometimes display a variety of behavioural and emotional difficulties due to their early childhood experiences and we need people who are patient, caring, fun, motivated and fully prepared to go on that life journey with our children.
The RCW role puts you at the heart of our care team, you will strive to achieve outstanding outcomes for the children, you will be motivated to learn and understand the complexities of the role and will further learn to go that 'extra mile' to ensure the children's needs are met.
Do your friends tell you that you're a 'good listener', are you patient, fun, energetic, caring, do you put others first, are you reflective, most of all, when something has gone wrong do you think 'WHY has that happened' instead of 'what' has happened? If so then working with residential children could be the greatest role for you.
We will offer you full developmental training in Trauma, Child Development, Attachment, Safeguarding and other bespoke topics to ensure you have all the theoretical skills to support your amazing personality. You will also be enrolled onto a qualification in Children and Young people in order to further your career with us and climb that ladder of progression.
