DHL, an award-winning leader in supply chain solutions, is looking for a HGV Class 2 Dray Driver to join our team. This is a customer-facing role with a great social element, perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships while delivering excellent service.
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Monday–Friday shift pattern with early starts (from 4:30am/5:30am)
- 2x Saturdays per year required as part of the role - all other Saturdays are paid as overtime (x1.5)
- Delivering alcoholic products to pubs, restaurants, and hotels, mainly in and around the outskirts of London
- Completing 10–12 drops per day (on average)
- Managing manual handling of up to 11 tonnes of stock daily (handballing kegs of beer, etc)
- Working with a drivers mate, 2 person lifts
- Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Must hold a valid HGV Class 2, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Must have 6 months recent class 2 driving experience as this is essential
- Happy to work with alcohol
