About The Role!
This is an agency role supporting vulnerable children with Challenging Behaviours, Trauma, Mental Health needs or Learning Disabilities with a variety of shift patterns offering flexibility.
As a Support Worker, you will develop positive relationships with children in care, offer emotional support, promote their independence, and assist the home by carrying out domestic tasks.
- Provide emotional support, mentorship, and encouragement to children.
- Follow care plans and adhere to safeguarding policies.
- Engage in fun and educational activities that help develop children’s interests and hobbies.
- Teach vital life skills to promote independence.
- Updating low level documentation, log books ect.
- Assist with domestic tasks like cooking, cleaning, and household upkeep.

Ideally you will have:
- Minimum of 3 months experience within social care or a similar setting (Essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred)
