Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming clients and understanding their styling needs
- Perform hair styling and barbering services with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Consult with clients to recommend suitable styles and treatments, ensuring satisfaction
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and barbering
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hair styling and barbering is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of quality
- Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple appointments effectively
- A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to continuously improve skills
- Previous experience working in a salon or barbershop environment is advantageous
