Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nightclub/Venue Manager to oversee the daily operations of our lively entertainment venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for guests while managing staff, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring the venue runs smoothly throughout the night. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with strong management skills and a passion for hospitality and guest services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of venue operations during evening hours, including staff management, guest experience, and safety protocols.
- Lead and motivate a team of bar staff, security personnel, and event staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Coordinate event schedules, manage bookings, and ensure timely setup and breakdown of events.
- Monitor guest interactions to ensure high standards of hospitality and resolve any issues promptly.
- Enforce venue policies, health and safety regulations, and licensing requirements to maintain compliance.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and tact.
- Manage stock levels for bar supplies and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
- Ensure the venue is clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times.
- Develop promotional strategies to attract new patrons and retain regular guests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in management within the hospitality or entertainment industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to nightlife venues.
- Organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy nights.
- Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and special events as required.
- Previous experience in managing alcohol service is desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering memorable experiences for guests while maintaining efficient venue operations.
Pay: From £17.00 per hour
