Cumbria Police has an exciting transferee opportunity for Police Staff to join our Command-and-Control room as an omni-competent call handler and dispatcher.
Cumbria is a high performing force according to HMICFRS and is in the top forces in the country according to the Crime Survey for England and Wales showing our communities trust us to police them.
This role is perfect for people who work in a police control room already and want to experience life in the Lake District.
This role offers you the opportunity to either be a call handler or a dispatcher in a busy rural force control room. Full training is provided to upskill you to the required level.
Those transferring in will join us at their relevant pay-point on the pay scale from their current force (if your force uses the national pay scale), otherwise you will be appointed at the bottom of pay scale 6.
