Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the food and beverage industry, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. All positions are paid, including internships, and require a positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service. Night shifts mainly.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest enquiries promptly
- Restock bar supplies and monitor stock levels regularly
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Good time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy service times
- Friendly, approachable personality with excellent communication skills
