Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bartender / Bar Manager to lead our bar operations while delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, energetic, and capable of managing staff, stock, and service standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard
- Manage daily bar operations and ensure smooth service
- Supervise, train, and schedule bar staff
- Maintain stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory
- Create and maintain drink menus and specials
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
- Handle cash, tills, and end-of-shift reports
- Enforce licensing laws, health & safety, and hygiene standards
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer issues
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender (management or supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers
- Leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Personal Licence Holder (or willing to obtain)
- Experience with stock control systems
- Bar or hospitality qualification
