Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Labourer and be at the forefront of building durable, high-quality structures. In this energetic role, you will assist with various aspects of concrete work, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will contribute directly to the success of each project, providing a rewarding opportunity to develop your expertise in construction trades.
Responsibilities
- Prepare work sites by setting up forms and reinforcement materials for concrete pouring.
- Pour, spread and level concrete accurately according to the Company's high standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely to facilitate concrete placement and finishing.
- Assist with the installation of drainage materials , when required.
- Perform site cleanup including tools and machines to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Driving 3.5t trucks to move small equipment, tools and materials to and from sites
- Follow Company safe operating procedures and wear all necessary protective clothing.
Skills
- Good level of fitness and ability to work in all weathers.
- Accept that extra hours need to be worked to complete tasks
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for construction tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic machinery and tools used on-site.
- Understanding of concrete work, including laying ready mix concrete accurately.
- Valid driver’s license or experience in commercial driving is essential.
