Are you a recent graduate in Child Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Social Work, Education, or a related Social Sciences field looking to gain hands-on experience supporting children with additional needs?
We are working with a number of inclusive primary schools that are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate graduates to join their SEND teams this September. These long-term opportunities are ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Teachers, Social Workers, or anyone passionate about improving outcomes for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
You will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, and Moderate Learning Difficulties. Working closely with experienced teachers and SEND professionals, you will help pupils access learning, develop social skills, and build confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
This role would suit a graduate who is patient, resilient, and eager to gain valuable experience working directly with children. Previous experience working with young people, either through university placements, voluntary work, mentoring, coaching, childcare, or family support, would be highly beneficial but is not essential.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a degree in Child Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Social Work, Education, or a related subject
- Have a genuine interest in supporting children and young people with SEND
- Be confident building positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience
- Be committed to helping every child achieve their full potential
