The Role
As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll play a key role in returning damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest level of quality.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Repairing and replacing damaged vehicle panels using recognised repair techniques.
- Carrying out accurate panel alignment and structural repairs where required.
- Removing dents and restoring vehicle bodywork to manufacturer standards.
- Working alongside Paint Sprayers, MET Technicians and Vehicle Damage Assessors to achieve an efficient repair process.
- Ensuring all repairs meet quality, safety and industry standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Managing your workload effectively to meet agreed repair times.
- Reporting any additional repair requirements to the workshop team.
About You
We're looking for a skilled Panel Beater / Panel Technician who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater, Panel Technician or Vehicle Body Repair Technician.
- Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle repair methods and Bodyshop procedures.
- The ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience using professional body repair equipment and tools.
- A positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
