Due to continued growth and success, we are looking for a confident and highly organised Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team in Wrexham. This is a key role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, supporting accurate customer order processing, transport coordination, outbound documentation and service delivery across our bakery operations.

About the role
Our vision is to be the go-to supplier of bakery products, working nationally with major retailers such as M&S and Waitrose on premium private label ranges, and regionally through the Village Bakery brand. As a family business, we continue to invest in our people, quality and food safety culture, equipment and processes to support sustainable growth.
As Logistics Coordinator, you will play an important part in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, transport is coordinated effectively, and outbound activity is completed to a high standard. You will work closely with planning, despatch, finance, commercial teams, customer contacts and partner hauliers to support service delivery and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Managing end-to-end non-EDI customer order processing with accuracy and pace
· Completing daily group performance metrics and supporting visibility of key operational measures
· Coordinating and booking internal and external transport requirements
· Maintaining accurate order and de-hire records for hired equipment, including CHEP and IFCO
· Collating outbound documentation, both paper and digital, and liaising with finance to support accurate and timely invoicing
· Completing outbound trace audits as required
· Acting as the primary point of contact for partner hauliers
· Supporting customers and the commercial team with general customer enquiries
· Supporting despatch colleagues with order picking on occasion, where required
· Completing occasional weekend order processing, with notice provided
About you

Essential
· Strong IT skills, with particular confidence using Microsoft Excel
· Excellent attention to detail and a track record of delivering accurate work consistently.
· Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
· Experience in logistics coordination, supply chain administration, order processing, transport coordination, customer service or a similar fast-paced operational role
Desirable
· Previous logistics or supply chain experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or another time-critical environment
