About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable, skilled Carpenter to join our team. You’ll be working across a range of residential and commercial properties, carrying out both first and second fix carpentry as well as supporting refurbishment projects.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong carpentry experience, a high standard of finish, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- 1st fix carpentry – studwork, joists, structural framing
- 2nd fix carpentry – doors, architraves, skirting, ironmongery
- Hanging internal doors (including fire doors where required)
- Kitchen installations and associated carpentry works
- Repairs and maintenance of existing carpentry elements
- Working from drawings and specifications on refurbishment projects
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a carpenter
- Strong ability in both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
- Good attention to detail and quality of finish
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Positive attitude and reliability
- Good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools and transport needed
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience with fire door installation
- Experience on refurbishment or HMO projects
- Basic understanding of building regulations
