Job Summary

Duties
- Supervise daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth service flow.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage a small team of baristas and servers, through effective supervision and coaching.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards across all areas.
- Coordinate food production activities to meet customer demand efficiently while maintaining consistency.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.
- Implement training programs to enhance team skills in serving, food handling, and hospitality best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste to optimize operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Some background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable to cafés or restaurants.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel service is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.
- Barista experience is a plus, reflecting familiarity with coffee brewing and beverage service.
