We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Stores & Inventory Controller to join our Procurement team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous warehouse or stores experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate stock control and efficient stores operations.
Reporting to the Senior Stores & Inventory Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the Stores Department, ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient goods movement, and excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Manage day-to-day goods in/goods out activities

Receive deliveries from suppliers and couriers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete

Pick and issue parts accurately for job orders and customer requirements

Maintain accurate stock records within the ERP/MRP system

Carry out stock checks and perpetual inventory (PI) counts

Store items correctly using FIFO principles

Assist with packing and shipping items safely and efficiently

Ensure all outgoing shipments have the correct packaging and documentation

Verify physical parts against engineering drawings and specifications

Maintain excellent housekeeping and safe working practices across all stores areas

Support operational improvements and contribute to ERP system process enhancements

Assist with storage planning and capacity management

Support and train team members when required

Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety procedures at all times

Previous experience using an ERP/MRP system

Experience working within a warehouse, stores, or inventory environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively

Good understanding of mechanical components

Ability to work independently and use initiative

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
