The George Hotel in Easingwold are looking for a strong kitchen porter to support their growing team.
You'll be working within a busy market town hotel popular for both lunches and dinners. Own transport essential due to our location outside of York.
Previous experience preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided, must be a minimum of 18 years old due to the nature of the work undertaken.
You will be responsible for;
· Working in the Back of House area of the kitchen ensuring the area is kept clean & tidy at all times.
· To support the chefs as and when required.
· To be aware of and to adhere to all health and safety, fire, hygiene and COSHH regulations governing the work you are undertaking and to ensure the correct chemicals/detergents are used at all times.
· To ensure that you work timely in the fast-paced environment.
