The role
- You will operate welding machines to fuse metal segments together using MIG or other processes
- Measuring, cutting, clamping, grinding, drilling, or tacking metal pieces before welding
- You will be required to fabricate parts following mechanical drawings.
- You will prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
About You
- Fabrication/welding- MIG, MMA/Stick Welding, Stud Welding and Plasma Cutting- essential
- Preferable have experience using the Armarda Press Brake
- Hands-on experience of working within a mechanical/electrical engineering environment - desirable
- The ability to understand mechanical drawings - essential
- Overhead crane/lifting slinging experience - desirable
- FLT Counterbalance - desirable
- Experience of working within a continuous improvement environment - desirable
- Full driving licence - essential
