Were now looking for a reliable Yard Operative to join our team at our Newhaven Branch
The Role
We are looking for a Yard Operative to support the safety and efficient running of our roofing branch yard.
This is a handson, outdoor role involving heavy materials and direct customer interaction.

Load and unload roofing materials and timber

Pick and prepare customer orders

Assist customers collecting goods from the yard

Maintain a clean, organised and safe yard area

Operate forklift trucks (if trained)

Follow all health and safety procedures

Positive, cando attitude

Good communication and customer service skills

Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)

Full UK driving licence

Yard or builders merchant experience (desirable)

Sales or product knowledge is a bonus
