Deputy Manager – Hospitality & Coffee

We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised and hands-on Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day operation of one of our prestigious corporate hospitality locations in the City of London.
Working alongside the General Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the site operates smoothly while maintaining the high standards that FIKA is known for.
The Role
This is a varied, fast-paced position where no two days are the same. You'll support the General Manager with the daily operation of the site and be willing to jump in wherever needed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the General Manager with the daily running of the site
- Brewing and maintaining fresh filter coffee for multiple self-service coffee stations
- Ensuring snack, drink and retail displays remain fully stocked throughout the day
- Assisting our barista during busy service periods
- Serving breakfast, lunch and hospitality where required
- Creating menus and site documents using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets and Slides)
- Helping maintain excellent organisation, cleanliness and presentation across all service areas
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and general operational administration
- Delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our guests
- Supporting the wider team wherever required to ensure seamless daily operations
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, thrives in a busy environment and genuinely enjoys looking after people.
Ideally you'll have:
- Previous experience in hospitality, cafés, contract catering or corporate hospitality
- Experience supervising or supporting a team
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Confidence using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Great communication and customer service skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- High standards of cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods
Coffee knowledge is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.
