Due to service expansion we are recruiting Speech and Language Therapists of all levels across our CYPIT teams. We are open to full and part time applicants and can also offer FTC for flexibility.
We are able to flexible with geographical location and can offer bases in Slough, Maidenhead, Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell and West Berkshire.
We are looking for people who have a real passion for seeing children and young people reach their potential and ensuring that we provide the best possible service at at a range of ages and with a range of needs.
We provide services to a mixture of Young people and can support roles in; Early Years, Special Schools and Mainstream schools.
Working with us you will have the opportunity to be part of an experienced team of therapists, whilst having independence and autonomy to manage your own caseload.
As a service we are committed to the development of our staff and can work with you to set development goals.
Our core hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:00 in which we can offer some flexibility inc some home working. As the role will involve some travel it is essential to be a driver.
Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people
Function as a specialist autonomous clinician, supporting delivery of the CYPIT model and providing support to more junior staff and students
Contribute to defined projects and service development initiatives as requested
Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records and provide written therapy plans and reports including contribution to the EHC Assessment process and tribunals as required
Use needs-led, impact-based clinical decision making, and associated outcome measures
Provide specialist clinical care including assessment, diagnosis and intervention

The “must haves” for this role:
Qualified Speech and Language Therapist
Experience in assessing and treating children and young people across a range of settings
Hold a full UK driving license, with access to using a vehicle for work purpose
