Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, motivated Materials Operative (Granulator) to join our team.
This is a hands-on role responsible for processing production scrap, maintaining high housekeeping standards, supporting production operations, and ensuring materials are correctly handled and stored.

Hours
Your hours of work will be in line with the flexible shift system in place which is an average of 42 hours per week.
Salary £28,022 per annum
Laundry allowance of £5 per month.

Responsibilities
- Operate the granulator to process production scrap.
- Segregate scrap by colour and material type.
- Label all bags with the correct colour, material type, weight, date, and operator details.
- Clean machinery thoroughly during colour changeovers.
- Operate the mixing machine to produce consistent batches of rework material.
- Complete all production documentation accurately.
- Store rework correctly and update computer records and the rework board.
- Bale PE and cardboard when required.
- Carry out routine health and safety checks and record findings.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the work area.
- Remove PE from products when required.
- Load and unload wagons safely.
- Support other departments as required.
- Help maintain the external appearance of the site, including gardens and buildings.
- Undertake additional duties as required to support business needs.
