We are looking for a compassionate, resourceful, and intuitive mentor to support a bright 14-year-old young man in the Carnforth, LA5 area, through a gentle, relationship‑led EOTAS package.
The role begins with 1–2 hours of indirect support each week to build trust, before moving into one‑to‑one mentoring. You’ll bring a low‑demand, collaborative approach, confidence around SEND (Autism, PDA, ADHD, SPD, trauma) and the ability to tune into his interests, especially gaming, football, video editing and creative activities. This role suits someone warm, adaptable and curious, from a range of backgrounds, who enjoys supporting young people in a flexible, strengths‑based way.
Experience:
This role is less about rigid qualifications and more about the right natural vibe, personality, intuition and attitude. It could therefore suit a variety of individuals e.g. Neurodivergent individuals, Psychology/Education/Occupational Therapy student or recent graduate, Youth workers or sports coaches, creative arts or gaming students/professionals or an experienced professional looking for a rewarding, part-time role.

Requirements:
- This is a self-employed role with flexible hours.
- Role may include sessions during school holidays as well as term time.

- Public Liability & Professional Indemnity insurance are required.
- An Enhanced DBS check issued within 1 year is required, if you do not have this, we can start the process.
