We are looking for a Service and Parts Advisor who will be able to bring their passion and enthusiasm for Aftersales into a leading motorcycle franchised dealership. This is a demanding role but for the right candidate a highly rewarding one also.
Duties include but are not exclusive to:
The smooth and efficient running of a busy Parts Department, ensuring that the department provides the best possible service to our customers, both retail and internal.
Organising all data capture to ensure that our customers are communicated with effectively and every opportunity for selling service work and promoting the activity of the Service department is fully maximised.
Making sure all warranty claims are handled effectively and to the satisfaction of our customers and that warranty work is completed on time by the workshop.
Developing and maximising every opportunity for the sale of parts & accessories.
Salary is dependant upon age and experience, this meets or exceeds National Minimum Wage.
Operating hours are 09.00 - 18.00 Tuesday to Friday & 09.00 - 17.00 Saturdays with flexibility to help with events as required (i.e. Motorcycle Live, Product Launches, etc)
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of aftersales in either the motorcycle or automotive industries.
You must be self motivated and able to manage your time and others effectively and lead by example.
Essential
- A passion for motorcycles is an absolute must as is the ability to lead by example and deliver results.
- Good technical knowledge of motorcycles together with the ability to communicate clearly with both the workshop and customers.
- A full motorcycle and driving licence.
- Ability to work weekends
Desirable
- Experience as a motorcycle technician
- Experience with using a Dealer Management System
