We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Car Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs effectively.
- Carry out equipment repair and maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
- Assist with the assembly of vehicle components during repairs or rebuilds.
- Perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or equipment safely
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed for each vehicle
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose complex issues accurately
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively
- Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and maintenance routines
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members

hourly wages are dependant on experience and can be negotiable for the right candidate.
