Overview
We are seeking a motivated and organised HR Manager (School & Estate) to join our team. This role involves developing and managing human resources functions across both the school and estate operations (200 acres of farmland). The ideal candidate will be proactive, approachable, and eager to contribute positively as we move, as part of the schools strategic planning, to a Governance-based structure.
Responsibilities
- Skills and Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualification (s) in HR or Business management
- Experience within schools or educational settings , including handling employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and HR policy implementation
- Experience managing Safer Recruitment processes and maintaining statutory records such as the Single Central Record (SCR)
- Experience in drafting HR policies, implementing appraisal systems, and leading organisational change
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Understanding of employment law.
- Proficient in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
