John Robson Metals Ltd has been at the forefront of safe dismantling and demolition in the Electrical Supply Industry for almost 50 years.
We specialise in High Voltage Substation dismantling and demolition and all associated works including, but not exclusive to; transformer disposal, transformer oil disposal, high voltage equipment disposal, cable de-oiling, cable services, PCB and SF6 gas recovery.
We operate two sites in Preston, one operating as a fully permitted waste site and main offices and the other covering our maintenance, stores, and fabrication departments. Our site works are carried out across the UK mainland.
We are currently seeking a proactive and organised individual who will work closely with our Project Managers and Project Director at our main offices. You will be responsible for producing project packs consisting of relevant site documentation, assisting with the general day to day running of projects, updating our contracts database and archiving site documentation on completion of works. The successful candidate will be eager to learn, able to provide strong project admin support and want to progress within the company to become a Junior Project Manager.
Required:
- Strong IT Skills - Experience with Microsoft Projects is desirable
- Administration experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to work as part of a small team but equally able to work under own initiative
- Must be highly organised and able to prioritise tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Motivated and keen to learn about the job and our industry.
- Full driving licence.
- Determined and hard working
- 8:00 to 5:30pm
