Advance Engineering have the following job opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager.
The applicant will need to have experience in a health & safety supervisory position.
Advance Engineering currently has over 60+ Employees of whom work within our manufacturing facility in Kings Lynn or around various sites across the UK. We are seeking a determined and efficient induvial who can Manage our health & safety requirements. The applicant will be integrated alongside our current managerial infrastructure to keep up to date training records and all health & safety requirements.
The successful applicant will need the following skills to carry out this role:
· Good people and communication skills and punctuality
· Ideally qualified in IOSHH Managing Safely / NEBOSH
· Essential IT skills with Microsoft Outlook and other office applications.
· Good organisational skills.
· Knowledge of Health and safety regulations.
· Experience in assessing and drafting Risk Assessment and Method statements.
· Good understanding of how an engineering business works.
· To actively promote a positive safety-focused culture throughout the business
· Experience in carrying Audits/ SSOW/toolbox talks/near misses/accidents and incidents reports/ RIDDOR, maintaining records.
· Understanding of CDM (Construction Design & Management) & Principal Contractor Roll
· Management of internal Training Matrix.
- Manage COSHH assessments and compliance
- Assisting with the delivery of various Health and Safety training courses
- Assisting with the development and auditing of various Health and Safety procedures and
systems relevant to the business needs across the site.
- Attend Health and Safety meetings and give relevant input and information as appropriate
- Management of My Compliance System
- Management of SAGE HR
Working Hours
7:30 am start – 4 pm Finish
40 Hours standard + Overtime
