Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production, culinary arts, and hospitality management. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and a thorough understanding of food safety standards. As a key member of our team, the Bar Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth running of all bar activities to provide an outstanding experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
- Manage and supervise bar staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Coordinate food and beverage service, including food preparation and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory efficiently.
- Develop innovative drink menus and promote specials to enhance customer engagement.
- Maintain a welcoming environment for guests, addressing any complaints or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service between bar and dining areas.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality and customer service.
- Organise staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervising within a hospitality environment.
- Strong background in food production, cooking, serving, and food preparation.
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Experience with culinary arts or kitchen operations is highly desirable.
- Barista experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.

Pay: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
