Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Small Tools Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the proper functioning of small tools and equipment used across various operational areas. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for technical work to develop their skills within a professional environment. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to contribute to the efficiency and safety of our operations. The knowledge and experience of working with hydraulic hoses & fittings. The experience of working with excavators & dumpers. When excavators & dumpers come back off hire to be able to do a thorough clean inside and wash outside.
MUST have experience and know your way round the 2stroke and 4stroke small petrol engines
Duties
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair small tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication.
- Assemble new tools and prepare them for operational use.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.
- Assist in the organisation and storage of tools to promote safety and efficiency in the workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions promptly.
- Hydraulic hoses & fittings
- Experience with excavators & Dumpers.
Skills
- Proven experience or strong interest in mechanical or technical roles related to tool fitting or maintenance.
- Good organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and small machinery.
- Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new techniques and procedures.

Pay: £24,420.00-£34,000.00 per year
