Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Barback - Daffodil to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role is essential in supporting bartenders and ensuring the smooth operation of the bar area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, assisting with food and beverage preparation, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. Responsibilities
- Restock bar supplies, including spirits, mixers, glassware, and utensils, ensuring all items are readily available for service
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting the kitchen team when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glassware, tools, and surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Support bartenders in serving drinks efficiently and courteously to guests
- Organise stock deliveries and ensure proper storage of all supplies
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Contribute to creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for guests
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar support is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food preparation or kitchen experience is beneficial
- Experience working in hotels or similar establishments such as cafés or bars enhances suitability for this role
- Barista experience or serving skills are advantageous
- Excellent communication skills are vital for effective teamwork and guest interaction
- A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail is essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment
