Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take and accurately relay food and drink orders to kitchen and bar staff
- Serve beverages and dishes promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas at all times
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Follow food safety protocols diligently during food preparation, serving, and handling
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including basic math for billing purposes
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Monitor guest needs proactively, addressing any issues swiftly to ensure satisfaction
- Support team members during busy periods by sharing responsibilities and maintaining a positive attitude
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
