Are you an experienced mechanic who genuinely loves cars and takes pride in doing things properly?
Heel & Toe Cars Ltd is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic mechanic to join our growing team at our specialist dealership near Sudbury, Suffolk.
We’re not a conventional garage. We work with a carefully selected collection of modern classics, performance cars and high-end vehicles, and we take enormous pride in preparing every car to the highest possible standard.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced mechanic who wants to work on a constantly changing selection of interesting and desirable cars, in a business where quality and attention to detail really matter.
The Role
As part of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of our varied stock of specialist vehicles.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Servicing and routine maintenance
- Mechanical repairs
- Accurate fault-finding and diagnostics
- Vehicle inspections and preparation
- Pre-sale mechanical preparation
- Parts and stock ordering
- General workshop organisation
- Working to a consistently high standard of workmanship
We are looking for someone who is confident diagnosing problems, works methodically and takes pride in finding the right solution rather than simply the quickest one.

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Proven experience in mechanical servicing and repair
- Excellent attention to detail
- High standards of workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- A genuine passion for cars
Desirable:
- Experience working with performance, prestige or classic vehicles
- Experience with multiple manufacturers
- A full driving licence
