About Eco Carz Ltd
Eco Carz Ltd is a well-established vehicle rental, accident management and vehicle repair company based in Slough. We provide replacement vehicles and accident management services to private individuals, taxi operators and businesses across the UK. Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to support the expansion of our customer base and commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Director and senior management to identify business opportunities, determine the range of services to be promoted and contribute to the development of sales strategies and annual sales targets.
- Meet with existing and prospective customers, understand their business requirements and recommend suitable vehicle rental and accident management solutions tailored to their needs.
- Conduct market research, customer surveys and competitor analysis to evaluate customer feedback, market trends, pricing strategies and service improvements.
- Compile, monitor and analyse sales performance data and prepare proposals for marketing campaigns, promotional activities and business development initiatives to increase revenue.
- Develop, manage and maintain strong relationships with existing customer accounts while identifying and securing new commercial clients, including insurers, claims management companies, vehicle repair centres and private hire operators.
- Prepare regular sales, marketing and business performance reports, providing recommendations to senior management to support strategic planning and future business growth.
- Assist with the recruitment, induction and training of junior sales and customer service staff, ensuring high standards of customer care and commercial performance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's services, market developments and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion and improve the company's competitive position.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in business development, sales, account management or a customer-facing commercial role is desirable.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Management, Marketing or a related field is preferred but not essential where relevant experience can be demonstrated.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Good commercial awareness with the ability to identify new business opportunities and contribute towards achieving sales targets.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- A professional, positive and customer-focused approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Training: Comprehensive induction and ongoing training will be provided on Eco Carz Ltd's vehicle rental, accident management and business processes. The successful candidate will receive continuous support and professional development to enable them to perform the role effectively and progress within the company..
