Lead with Purpose. Make a Difference. Build Something Exceptional.
Are you an experienced Registered Manager or senior care leader who is ready for a new challenge?
Perhaps you are already managing a service and feel ready for an organisation where your experience is genuinely valued. Experience working with a self-funding care model is preferable. Perhaps you want greater autonomy, stronger support from senior leadership, and the opportunity to make a real impact rather than simply manage the day-to-day.
If that sounds like you, Blue Angel Care would like to hear from you.
We are looking for an ambitious, experienced and values-driven Registered Manager to take a leading role in the development of our care service in Central Hampshire.
Blue Angel Care have been awarded Top Twenty for 5 years running homecare.co.uk
This is not simply a role where you maintain the status quo. We are looking for a leader who wants to shape a service, develop a high-performing team, drive quality and create an environment where clients and staff can genuinely thrive.
Why This Opportunity?
We understand that experienced managers have choices.
Moving to another organisation is a significant decision, which is why we want to offer the right person more than just a job title.
At Blue Angel Care, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead with autonomy – your experience and professional judgement will be respected.
- Make a genuine impact – have a direct influence on the quality of care and the experience of clients and their families.
- Build and develop your own team – create a positive culture where people are supported, motivated and proud of the care they deliver.
- Work with strong senior support – you will not be expected to manage difficult challenges alone.
- Influence the future of the service – your ideas, experience and leadership will help shape how we grow.
- Focus on quality, not just paperwork – while compliance is essential, we believe excellent care is about people first.
- Be recognised for your contribution – with competitive remuneration and performance-related opportunities.
- Continue to develop professionally – with access to leadership development, training and opportunities for career progression.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, management and performance of the service.
You will be responsible for ensuring that clients receive safe, effective, compassionate and person-centred care, whilst creating a positive working environment where staff are supported to perform at their best.
You will provide visible and confident leadership across the service and work closely with the senior management team to drive quality, compliance, growth and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the overall day-to-day management of the service.
- Providing strong, visible and inspirational leadership to the care team.
- Recruiting, developing, coaching and retaining high-quality staff.
- Creating a positive culture based on accountability, respect, learning and continuous improvement.
- Ensuring excellent standards of person-centred care.
- Maintaining full compliance with CQC requirements and relevant legislation.
- Monitoring service quality and implementing meaningful improvements.
- Ensuring care plans, assessments, reviews and records are accurate, current and of a high standard.
- Managing incidents, complaints, safeguarding concerns and other quality matters effectively.
- Working closely with clients, families, healthcare professionals and other external partners.
- Managing budgets, resources and staffing effectively.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the service and contribute to its continued development and growth.
- Working closely with senior leadership to achieve agreed operational, quality and business objectives.
