Freeburn Transport Ltd is a family-run transport company based in Moy, with extensive operations across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland, and England.
We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our team on a full-time nightshift basis.
Key Responsibilities
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Complying with all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks on both the tractor unit and trailer/refrigeration unit.
- Driving safely and responsibly at all times, adhering to speed limits and being mindful of other road users and pedestrians.
- Following all driving legislation, transport regulations, and company policies.
- Treating customer and company property with care, professionalism, and respect.
- Reporting any issues, defects, delays, or incidents promptly to the relevant Operations Manager, Planning Manager, Compliance Team, or Fleet Maintenance Manager.
- Providing a courteous, professional, and efficient service to customers at all times.
- Ensuring full compliance with drivers' hours regulations, tachograph requirements, and statutory rest periods.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph (Digi) Cards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic IT literacy.
- A strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
- A flexible approach to working hours.
