We are seeking a skilled Motor Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join our family run buisiness. We carry out a full range of repairs,servicing and MOTs to a wide variety of vehicles This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for automotive technology and a commitment to quality service. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive MOT tests in accordance with legal requirements and industry standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and servicing on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Carry out vehicle inspections to identify faults or potential issues
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used and repairs performed
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
Skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to repairs
- Valid MOT testing licence (preferred but not essential; training can be provided)
- Full UK driving licence.
