Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Laboratory Project Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of laboratory, research, and life-sciences projects. You’ll coordinate schedules, documentation, resources, suppliers, and communication between laboratory, research, quality, and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate laboratory and research projects from planning through completion, ensuring activities remain on schedule.
- Maintain project timelines, documentation, action trackers, meeting records, and progress reports.
- Coordinate laboratory resources, equipment, materials, samples, and external suppliers as required.
- Work closely with scientists, laboratory technicians, quality teams, and project stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
- Monitor project milestones, identify potential delays or risks, and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Support compliance with laboratory procedures, quality standards, health and safety requirements, and relevant documentation practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in laboratory coordination, project administration, research support, life sciences, healthcare, or a related environment is preferred.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good understanding of laboratory workflows, documentation, sample handling, research processes, or scientific operations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Excel, project-management tools, databases, and document-management systems.
- A degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Life Sciences, Biology, Biomedical Science, Healthcare, Project Management, or a related field is desirable, but relevant practical experience will also be considered.
Pay: £2,667.00-£3,583.00 per month
