In this hands-on leadership role, you will take ownership of all HR activity—from recruitment and employee relations to payroll and policy development—while also driving efficient and well-organised office operations. You will work closely with senior leadership to support business performance, streamline processes, and create a positive, high-performing workplace.
This is a stand alone role so you will be the go-to for all things HR, confidently managing sensitive employee matters, ensuring full compliance with employment legislation, and supporting managers to get the best from their teams. Alongside this, you will oversee core office functions including administration, reporting, and operational coordination to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven recent experience in a HR Manage ideally within a fast-paced environment (minimum 2 years)
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice, including disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Experience managing payroll processes and working with time and attendance systems
- Confident handling employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Commercial awareness with experience supporting budgeting, cost control, or reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and experience supporting workplace safety compliance would be beneficial

Desired Criteria:
- Experience working in the hospitality sector
- Experience supporting both HR and operational/office functions in a combined role
This is a site-based role in Ballymena - Monday to Friday only (no weekend work)
