Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project managers in coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, and ensuring smooth communication across teams. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate databases
- Assist in planning and scheduling project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, records, meeting minutes, and correspondence, both physical and computerized.
- Coordinate communication between stakeholders, team members, and external vendors
- Monitor project progress and update relevant parties on any deviations or issues
- Support the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist with risk management by identifying potential issues early and escalating appropriately
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within project processesQualifications
Requirements
- Proven experience in administrative support or project coordination
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in computer and software use, in particular MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive attitude with problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
